What these platforms actually say about fees, payouts and your content
Everything below is taken from each platform’s own current terms and help pages. There is no ranking, no score and no recommendation, because the useful question is not which one is best — it is what each of them can do with your money and your work once you have agreed to it.
A headline revenue share is the least interesting number on this page. How long your money is held, who absorbs a chargeback, whether there is a fee per disputed payment, and what happens to a balance you stop touching will all change what you keep by more than the difference between 75 and 80 percent.
Where a platform contradicts itself
We show these rather than quietly picking a number. A platform whose own pages disagree is telling you something useful about how much any single figure is worth.

Sources and how we weigh them (17)
When sources disagree we prefer them in this order: an official company or registry filing, then a regulator’s final decision or a government enforcement record, then a court’s own order with its procedural posture intact, then the platform’s current terms, then peer-reviewed research, then investigative reporting. A filed complaint shows a claim was made, not that it is true. An industry survey is not a population estimate. Where no primary source exists, we say so rather than repeating a number from somewhere that earns a commission when you sign up.
